Our Chama app allows users and admins to manage their user accounts, documents, and savings easily. Team members can monitor admins as they tally their savings on the platform and determine their creditworthiness.
You can request small loans on the platform, have the signatories sign for you digitally, and receive the funds via your mobile device. If you want cash, the admin must tally the amount into the system and give you cash.
What Chama App Can Do
The user should be able to:
- Create a Chama and add members to it. After registering using your email and password, create a chama and follow the steps to establish an account for your chama.
- Following an invite via email, WhatsApp, or text message, members should be able to register for an account and set up their personal information.
- Admins should schedule meetings for upcoming chama events or meetings based on their weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly settings.
- Users should make a deposit or automate billings via Mpesa or a bank account
- The system should calculate the funds belonging to the user based on the deposit and settings
- Request loans and the admin can add loans offered offline to the registry
- Get rewards for profit based on their shares or savings via Mpesa or their bank at the end of the year when all users pay their debts.
Installing
Simply clone this repo and run composer install to install and add dependencies. You’ll also need to configure your database settings via your .env file.
